# All-on-4 Dental Implants in León: Cost and Process

## What All-on-4 is

All-on-4 replaces a full arch of teeth with a fixed bridge carried on four implants. Two are placed vertically at the front of the jaw, two are angled at the back to reach denser bone and avoid the sinus or the nerve. The angle is the whole point of the technique: it often removes the need for bone grafting in a patient who would otherwise be told they do not have enough bone.

In León a full arch runs **$8,000 to $13,000 USD**. Two arches are not simply double — ask for the combined figure rather than assuming.

## Why the price varies that much

The range is wide because the term covers very different work:

- **The provisional bridge.** Most patients leave with a temporary fixed bridge on the day of surgery. Whether that is included changes the quote materially.

- **The final prosthesis material.** Acrylic on a titanium bar, monolithic zirconia and layered zirconia are different products at different prices with different lifespans.

- **Extractions.** Failing teeth usually have to come out first. Some quotes include them; others bill them separately.

- **The implant system.** Same logic as single implants: an established system with globally available parts costs more and is worth more in ten years.

- **Imaging and planning.** CBCT and guided surgery add cost and, in the right hands, precision.

## How the trips are structured

A typical full-arch case is two trips. The first is the surgical trip: imaging, extractions if needed, implant placement and the provisional bridge — usually four to seven days on the ground, with a review appointment before you fly. Then three to six months of healing at home while the bone integrates. The second trip is shorter: impressions, try-in and fitting of the final prosthesis, commonly four to six days.

Some clinics advertise a single-trip full arch. It exists, and for some patients it is appropriate, but it is a clinical decision made from imaging rather than a package. Be sceptical of anyone who promises it before seeing your scan.

## Price reference

TreatmentLeón range (USD)
All-on-4, one arch$8,000 – $13,000
Single dental implant$850 – $1,500
Dental crown$300 – $550

## What to ask before you commit

- Who performs the surgery, what are their credentials, and how many full arches do they place in a month?

- Is the laboratory in-house or external, and who designs the final prosthesis?

- What exactly is included: extractions, provisional, final prosthesis, follow-ups?

- What is the warranty on the implants and on the prosthesis, and what voids it?

- If an implant fails after I return home, who pays for the revision, and where is it done?

- What is the maintenance schedule, and can my dentist at home service this prosthesis?

That last question matters more than patients expect. A full arch is not a finished product; it needs professional cleaning and periodic checks for the rest of its life.

## Choosing the clinic

Full-arch work is where the gap between clinics widens most. Our [free ranking of the 196 clinics in León](https://www.molarcity.com/top-dental-clinics-in-leon/) gives you a shortlist based on public digital footprint, and the [León city guide](https://www.molarcity.com/dentists-in-leon/) covers logistics. Neither replaces asking the six questions above and comparing the written answers.

### How much does All-on-4 cost in León, Mexico?

A full arch runs $8,000 to $13,000 USD in León. The spread reflects the prosthesis material, whether extractions and the provisional bridge are included, and the implant system used.

### How long does the whole process take?

Usually two trips separated by three to six months of healing: four to seven days for surgery and the provisional, then four to six days for the final prosthesis.

### Can All-on-4 be done in one trip?

Sometimes, but it is a clinical decision made from your imaging rather than a package you can buy in advance. Treat a single-trip promise made before a scan as a warning sign.

### What happens if an implant fails after I fly home?

Ask before you travel and get the answer in writing. Reputable clinics have a defined revision policy; what varies is who pays for the revision and who pays for the travel to have it done.

## A note on expectations

Full-arch implant treatment fails in a percentage of cases everywhere, regardless of country or price. No clinic can promise you an outcome. What you can require is a documented plan, named materials, a named surgeon and a written revision policy. Molar City has been guiding patients to Mexican dental care since 2007 on exactly those terms.
