Why Istanbul Packages Include Whitening

Istanbul is the largest dental tourism market Molar City tracks, with 168 listed clinics. Many of them sell treatment, hotel and airport transfers as a single package. Whitening gets thrown in because it is cheap, quick, and gives the patient an instant — if sometimes misleading — “wow” moment. The strategy is not dishonest, but it needs to be understood. A brighter smile after a package does not mean your crowns are whiter; it means your natural enamel is lighter, and crowns placed before whitening now stand out.

The distance is the other piece of the package puzzle. From North America, a flight to Istanbul takes ten hours or more each way. That travel investment only makes financial sense on larger cases, and those frequently involve not just whitening but also restorations. A trip this long means returning for a crown adjustment or a recoloring is not a simple weekend trip.
