What to look at in the clinic itself
- Sterilisation. Ask to see the autoclave and ask how often it is biologically tested. A clinic proud of its protocol will show you; one that deflects has told you something.
- Single-use items. Needles, gloves, suction tips, burs where applicable, opened in front of you.
- Imaging on site. A clinic doing implant work should have at least panoramic imaging, and CBCT for surgical planning.
- Written records. A real treatment plan on paper or PDF with materials named, not a number scribbled on a card.
