Dental Implant Costs by Country: 2026 Price Comparison
Quick answer: Turkey has the lowest published implant prices; Mexico has the lowest travel cost for U.S. and Canadian patients. Molar City's own verified pricing covers 6 Mexican cities — every other country in the table is labelled as clinic-published and not yet verified.

How much do dental implants cost around the world in 2026? Below is a like-for-like comparison of the leading dental-tourism destinations against the United States. Two of the rows are Molar City's own verified pricing; the rest are the ranges those clinics publish themselves, and we label them that way rather than present them as ours.

What the implant column includes: the titanium post only. A finished tooth also needs the abutment and the crown. Across the 6 Mexican cities Molar City does verify, a complete single tooth (post + abutment + crown) runs $1,050–$2,050 USD. Ranges published for other countries are usually post-only too — always ask what a quote includes.

Which country is actually cheapest?

Turkey has the lowest prices in this table — clearly lower than Mexico on both single implants and All-on-4. We publish that even though Molar City's own clinics are in Mexico, because it is what the numbers show. What Mexico offers North American patients is a different advantage: it is the closest. For someone in Arizona, California or Texas the border cities are a drive or a short flight away, a follow-up appointment is a day trip rather than a transatlantic booking, and implant work staged across two visits stays affordable. Turkey is a 10-hour-plus flight, which makes sense on a large full-mouth case where the absolute saving covers the airfare, and rarely makes sense for a single crown. "Cheapest" and "closest" are two different questions, and the right answer depends on where you live and how big the case is.

What's included — always ask

A finished implant tooth is three separate parts: the titanium post, the abutment and the crown. Most published prices — ours and everyone else's — quote the post on its own, so a quote that looks like half the price of another may simply be quoting less of the work. Bone grafts, sinus lifts, extractions, CT scans and sedation are billed separately almost everywhere. Ask for the total per tooth, in writing, before you book travel.

Does a lower price mean lower quality?

Lower labour, laboratory and overhead costs explain a large part of the international gap, and leading clinics abroad place the same implant systems sold in the United States. That is where the explanation stops, and stretching it into a guarantee would be dishonest: quality varies from clinic to clinic inside every country on this table, including Mexico and Turkey, and price on its own will not tell you which is which. Specialty training and credentials, the implant brand actually being placed, the laboratory and materials, the sterilization protocol, and what happens if something has to be redone are all assessed separately from price — that is exactly what our independent clinic ranking is for. Nothing on this page is dental advice: a treatment plan requires an in-person examination and imaging.

Where these prices come from (methodology)

Molar City has operated as an independent dental-tourism platform since 2007. We are not a clinic and no clinic pays to appear in this table.

  • Source: the price lists each partner clinic files and maintains in the Molar City panel, plus the real quotes that pass through our booking system. Nothing is copied from other directories.
  • Coverage: Cancún · Los Algodones · Mexicali · Playa del Carmen · San Luis Río Colorado · Tijuana. All in Mexico. For Turkey, Hungary, Thailand, Colombia and Costa Rica we publish the ranges the clinics themselves advertise and label them not yet verified — we do not hold first-party pricing for those countries.
  • Currency: U.S. dollars (USD) — the currency these clinics quote to U.S. and Canadian patients. No exchange-rate conversion is applied.
  • What we publish: the observed minimum and maximum across clinics in each city group — not an average, so one odd quote cannot move the number. Where a city has a single clinic on file, that city page says so and names the clinic.
  • Refresh: clinics update their list whenever a price changes; we take a dated snapshot of the whole set and keep it so month-to-month movement can be compared. Current snapshot: August 8, 2026 (314 rows, 22 cities, 42 treatments). Most recent clinic price change on file: August 4, 2026.
  • What a price does not tell you: quality varies between clinics inside the same country, not only between countries. Credentials, implant brand, materials, sterilization and follow-up are assessed separately from price and are never offset by a discount.
  • Corrections: if a figure looks wrong, email [email protected] with the evidence and we will correct it in the next snapshot.

The other dataset: clinic digital footprint

Separately from pricing, Molar City scores the digital footprint of 5,463 dental clinics across 32 cities — including Istanbul, Budapest, Bangkok, Antalya, Medellín and San José — on checkable criteria: review count, rating, photos, verified Google listing, website and social presence. These are two different datasets and we never merge them: a clinic scored on digital footprint is not a clinic with verified pricing. Outside Mexico we have the score but not the price. See the ranking method.

Molar City's own data

This page is part of one body of data: verified prices by city and the independent clinic ranking. Price tells you how much; the ranking tells you with whom.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which country has the cheapest dental implants in 2026?
On sticker price, Turkey is the cheapest of the major destinations: clinics there publish single implants from about $400–$900 and All-on-4 from $3,000–$6,000 per arch. Molar City has not verified Turkish pricing first-hand. Mexico is not the cheapest, but it is the closest: in the 6 Mexican cities where Molar City does verify prices, a single titanium implant post runs $700–$1,200 in the border cities, with no long-haul flight and easy return visits for patients in the U.S. and Canada.
How much does a single dental implant cost in Mexico?
In Molar City's verified data (544 price points from 14 clinics across Cancún, Los Algodones, Mexicali, Playa del Carmen, San Luis Río Colorado, Tijuana, snapshot August 8, 2026), the titanium implant post alone runs $700–$1,200. The finished tooth — post plus abutment plus crown — runs $1,050–$2,050. Always confirm which of the two a quote refers to.
How much is All-on-4 in Mexico?
Across the Mexican cities Molar City verifies, All-on-4 with a fixed acrylic bridge runs $7,500–$11,000 per arch, and All-on-6 runs $9,000–$14,000 per arch. Turkish clinics publish All-on-4 from $3,000–$6,000; Molar City has not verified those figures.
Where do these prices come from?
They are first-party data. Each partner clinic files and maintains its own price list in the Molar City panel, and real quotes flowing through our booking system confirm them. The current snapshot holds 544 individual prices from 14 clinics across 6 Mexican cities and 64 treatments, captured August 8, 2026, all in U.S. dollars. Figures for Turkey, Hungary, Thailand, Colombia and Costa Rica are the ranges those clinics advertise and are labelled as not yet verified by Molar City.
Does a lower price mean lower quality?
Not by itself, and not automatically the other way round either. Lower labour, laboratory and overhead costs explain a large part of the gap, and leading clinics abroad use the same implant systems sold in the U.S. But quality genuinely varies from clinic to clinic inside every country, including Mexico and Turkey. Credentials, implant brand, materials, sterilization protocol and follow-up should be checked separately from price before booking.
Which Mexican cities does Molar City verify prices for?
Cancún, Los Algodones, Mexicali, Playa del Carmen, San Luis Río Colorado, Tijuana — 6 cities in total. Each has its own published price list on this site with the treatments, the figures and the date. Molar City does not hold first-party pricing outside Mexico yet.
