What All-on-4 actually is
All-on-4 is a full-arch restoration: a complete set of fixed teeth for the upper jaw, the lower jaw or both, supported by four implants rather than one per tooth. The posts are angled to use the bone you still have, which is why many patients told they need grafts for conventional implants turn out to be candidates for this instead.
It is not a denture. The prosthesis is fixed and you do not remove it.
What it costs in Puebla

The saving on one arch commonly exceeds $12,000. At that scale flights and transfers stop being a meaningful part of the decision, which is why full-arch cases are the most common reason patients travel at all.
Why Puebla suits this procedure
Full-arch work is the most demanding thing a dental practice does. It needs surgical placement, prosthetic design and long-term follow-up, and it usually needs more than one specialist. Puebla's university sector means those specialists are here in numbers — you are not relying on a single practitioner covering every stage.
Ask the clinic how the case is divided: who places the implants, who designs and fits the prosthesis, and whether they work together routinely.
Why the price range is so wide
- Material of the final prosthesis. Acrylic on a titanium bar sits at the lower end; monolithic zirconia at the upper end, generally lasting longer and looking better.
- Implant system. Established international brands cost more than generic fixtures, and matter years later when a component needs replacing. A part from a system nobody stocks is a real problem.
- What the quote covers. Extractions, imaging, the temporary prosthesis and follow-up visits may or may not be inside the number.
The process
- Records and planning. A CBCT scan shows available bone and determines whether All-on-4 is appropriate.
- Surgery day. Remaining teeth in the arch are removed, four implants placed, and in most protocols a fixed temporary prosthesis attached the same day or within a couple of days. You leave with teeth.
- Healing. Three to six months while the implants integrate. You wear the temporary and follow a modified diet.
- Final prosthesis. A second trip for the definitive teeth, fitted and adjusted.
Plan on two trips, the first usually about a week to allow post-operative checks before flying.
Who it suits, and who it does not
All-on-4 suits patients who have lost most or all teeth in an arch, or whose remaining teeth are failing and not worth saving. It often suits patients told they lack the bone for conventional implants.
If most of your teeth are sound and you need two or three replaced, individual implants preserve more of what you have. A clinic recommending full-arch surgery without examining the teeth you still have is selling a procedure, not planning your case. Get a second opinion — in a city with 212 clinics, that is easy.

- Which implant system, by brand, and is it internationally available?
- What material is the final prosthesis, and why that one for my case?
- Are the temporary, extractions and imaging included?
- Who performs the surgery and who designs the prosthesis? What is their training?
- What does the warranty cover, and who pays for travel if a correction is needed?
- What is the follow-up schedule after I return home?
